Beauty, Coaching, and Wellness Under One Roof in Wareham, MA

Integrative wellness coaching, hair services, and community at April Evans' studio in Wareham, Massachusetts. Serving Cape Cod, the SouthCoast, and clients anywhere via virtual coaching.

Hi, I'm April. I run April Evans Integrative Beauty + Wellness out of my studio in Wareham, Massachusetts, and if you've landed here, you're probably looking for something a little more thoughtful than what a standard salon or wellness clinic offers.

This is the long version of what I do, who I work with, and what "integrative beauty and wellness" looks like around here.

What integrative beauty and wellness means

Integrative just means it doesn't stop at one thing.

Most beauty businesses do hair. Most wellness practices do coaching. The two don't usually talk to each other. I built my studio around the idea that they should. The way you eat, the way you sleep, the grief you've been carrying, the hormone shifts you're moving through... all of it shows up in your skin, your scalp, your hair, and your energy.

So I do both. Hair services on one side. Integrative wellness coaching on the other. Sometimes the same person comes in for both. Sometimes people come for one and stay for the other. There's no pressure either way.

Where I'm located: Wareham, MA (and yes, it's easy to get to from Cape Cod)

My studio is in Wareham, Massachusetts, right at the gateway to Cape Cod. If you're coming from Bourne, Falmouth, Mashpee, Sandwich, or anywhere across the bridge, I'm a short drive. Same goes for Plymouth, Marion, Mattapoisett, Rochester, and the SouthCoast in general.

If you're outside that radius, or anywhere else in the country, my coaching is also offered virtually by phone or video. More on that below.

The hair side: extensions, color, cuts, and wedding work

I've been doing hair for a long time, and my specialty is extensions. People come to me when they want length, density, fullness, or a fix for thinning that doesn't look like a fix. I also do color, cuts, styling, and wedding hair.

  • Extensions are my expertise. If you've been thinking about them and you've been nervous about doing it right, I'd rather have a real conversation with you than send you to a chain.

  • I work with people experiencing hair loss too. That includes postpartum hair changes, hormonal thinning, and the kind of shedding that comes with medications like Ozempic and other GLP-1s. If that's what brought you here, I have a separate blog post about that and I'm happy to talk through your options.

  • Hair services are local-only. You have to come to the Wareham studio for these.

The coaching side: integrative wellness, nutrition, grief, and hormones

This is the part of my work I think people are most curious about, so I want to be specific about what it is.

I offer integrative wellness coaching to people who want support. The clients I see most often are high-functioning people doing fine on the outside who know something needs to shift. The work covers a few different areas:

Nutrition coaching. I work with people who want a better relationship with what they eat, who want to feel better in their bodies, and who want sustainable change instead of another diet.

Grief coaching and support. Grief is one of the things I've sat with most in my own life and in my practice. If you've lost someone, or you're grieving a version of yourself, a relationship, or a chapter that's closed, this is something I can help you move through.

Hormone and life-stage support. Whether you're navigating perimenopause, postpartum, fertility, or any other moment where your body is doing something new, coaching can help you understand what's happening and what supports might help.

General integrative coaching. For people who want to look at the whole picture: sleep, stress, nourishment, relationships, energy, purpose. The kind of work where we keep checking in, where you have someone to think with, where small changes accumulate into real ones.

Coaching is not medical care, and I'm not your doctor. Coaching is ongoing conversation and support, structured around the changes you want to make in your life. If you need medical care, you need a doctor. If you need a steady, informed presence helping you move toward how you want to live, that's me.

In person in Wareham or virtual by phone or video

Coaching is available two ways:

  1. In person at my Wareham studio. Great if you're local to Cape Cod, the SouthCoast, or the South Shore.

  2. Virtual by phone or video. Great if you're anywhere else.

Both are equally effective. Distance is not a reason to wait if this is something you want.

Who I work with

There's no one type of client who walks through my door, but a few patterns come up a lot:

  • People in their 30s, 40s, and 50s and beyond, who are doing well by every external measure and know something underneath needs attention.

  • People moving through a hard chapter (loss, separation, a diagnosis, an empty nest, a career shift) who want someone in their corner.

  • People who feel like they've outgrown the way they've been taking care of themselves and want to rebuild that foundation.

  • People who want hair that reflects how they actually want to show up, and who like the idea of working with someone who also thinks about the rest of their life.

I work with people of all genders. The coaching is built for anyone who wants to do this kind of work.

I built April Evans Integrative Beauty + Wellness because I was tired of seeing people split themselves up.

Going to one place for their hair, another for their nutrition, another for their grief, and never having any of those people talk to each other or see them as a whole person.

You are one person. Your life is one life. Your beauty and your wellness are connected, and that's how I work with both.

If you're in Wareham, on Cape Cod, on the SouthCoast, or somewhere further out and you're looking for someone who'll see all of it, I'd love to talk.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to be local to Wareham or Cape Cod to work with you? For hair services, yes. For coaching, no. Coaching is available virtually by phone or video, so you can be anywhere.

What's the difference between wellness coaching and therapy? Therapy is mental health care, usually focused on diagnosing and treating mental health conditions, delivered by licensed clinicians. Coaching is ongoing, structured support around the changes you want to make in your life. The two can absolutely work in tandem, and I'm a fan of both.

How long does coaching usually last? Different for everyone. Some people work with me for a few months around a specific goal or transition. Others stay on longer because having a consistent person to think with is valuable to them. We talk about what makes sense in the intro session.

What towns are near your Wareham studio? Wareham sits at the gateway to Cape Cod. People come to me from Bourne, Buzzards Bay, Falmouth, Mashpee, Sandwich, Plymouth, Marion, Mattapoisett, Rochester, Carver, Middleboro, and the broader SouthCoast and South Shore.

How do I book? DM me on Instagram or use the contact page on my site. The 30-minute intro coaching offer runs through May 2026 and is open to anyone curious about working together.
